Award-Winning Floral Artist Lorraine Captan Creates Showstopping Installation for Elton John’s The Devil Wears Prada at the Dominion Theatre
In December 2024, floral artist Lorraine Captan and her studio Forever Bloom were commissioned to create a 16‑metre floral staircase installation at London’s iconic Dominion Theatre for Elton John’s production of The Devil Wears Prada. Lorraine was also entrusted with designing the festive Christmas décor for the A‑list red carpet premieres, which received global press coverage and were live‑streamed to audiences worldwide.
"Being entrusted with such an iconic brand was a true honour. Doing it justice was always my priority. The brief was clear, and our proposed designs were chosen to reflect the opulence and glamour of the show." — Lorraine Captan
The work received wide acclaim from both the theatre and production team:
“She absolutely nailed the brief… captured the essence of the show’s opulence… you only have to look at our socials to see how much the audiences love the décor!” — Sophia Rowland, Theatre Manager, Dominion Theatre
“Lorraine and her team transformed the space with breathtaking floral artistry… blending high fashion with theatrical elegance.” — Claudia Wentworth, Dewynters London
Lorraine Captan is now a sought-after designer for high-profile cultural and commercial commissions, specialising in transforming spaces and enhancing brands with unforgettable, high-impact floral installations.
